Wyre Vet Physio is a Veterinary Physiotherapy business based in Lancashire and the surrounding areas. We treat mainly horses and dogs, however due to Connie's keen interest in exotics and other small furies after owning a variety of species herself in the past, please do not hesitate to get in touch if you think you have an animal which would benefit from physio.
Hi I'm Connie, I grew up in Manchester but somehow ended up living in a small village called Great Eccleston with many stop offs in between. After always loving animals my whole childhood, I went to college with the hopes of becoming a vet. I soon decided that being a vet wasn't for me and chose to study a zoology degree at Chester University in 2019 whilst I figured out what I wanted to do. I had some amazing opportunities whilst at Chester despite COVID taking a massive hit on the social side of university such as getting to be a Rhino zookeeper intern at Chester Zoo. At the zoo, my love for exotics grew and I took a keen interest in animal behaviour, this interest spread into my academic journey. In my final year at Chester I got back into the horse world by volunteering at Horse Sense Wirral, a lovely local horse charity. During my final year at Chester University I discovered Veterinary Physiotherapy and it was like a light bulb had been switched on, I had discovered my passion. I started my postgraduate journey at Harper Adams University in 2022 where I began my Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
